What's going on, guys? We are back with another banging podcast episode here. Kane and Cody are out, always working, always busy, so we're going to miss those two on this fine beautiful Monday. So it is just Mitch and I and I'm going into this completely blindsided. Mitch has just randomly picked a topic and he's going to just lay it out there. So a little nervous, yeah, because he always tests the waters. I just interrupted you. No, no, no, you're fine, always tests the waters. I just interrupted you. No, no, you're fine, you're fine I interrupted you.
Speaker 2:I hate when you fight. We're already up to a bad start anyways, it's okay. Yeah, we're gonna do something a little different today. Motivational monday uh, I have not told us on the topic. I'm gonna drop the topic on him and he's gonna give us some fucking off the top motivation, and that's just how we're gonna run it. Today's topic. What I want to talk about dawson is uh, if you do not put in the work, you won't get the results and you do not deserve the results. If you don't put in the work, you do not deserve the end goal. It's almost like I like I told you, I gave you a little spoiler.
Speaker 2:I said it's almost not motivational because it's kind of hard, ass hard ass but if you, if you don't put in that work, you do not deserve the reward of it absolutely, absolutely.
Speaker 1:Who's gonna carry the fucking boats? Dude, I'm missing a wheel on this chair. I'm about to fall. No, um, yeah, if you're gonna sit around and victimize yourself, be lazy, uh, make excuses. But then you're also going to complain about how you are stagnant, how you're not moving forward and how you're not achieving these goals. The only person I blame is your fucking self at the end of the day, yeah yeah, and if, if, like you, just you don't have any accountability?
Speaker 2:yeah, I don't know how I was gonna. I don't know how to explain what I'm trying to say. Like you, you need to hold yourself accountable for things like that, correct? And uh, you can't get pissed off when you don't see results, because if you don't see results, all that means is you haven't put in the work that thus far. So you, you can't get down on yourself about it because you haven't earned that. You haven't even earned the right to get down on yourself. Yeah, you haven't. You haven't done anything.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and honestly, if you can't even hold yourself accountable, then it's going to be even tougher to allow others to hold you accountable, because then you're going to get frustrated at them when they're simply trying to be a good person in your life and hold you accountable and you're going to take it as they're attacking you because you play that victim card. You can't even hold yourself accountable. So I think, at the end of the day, it is you versus you. It is you at the end of the day. You know you came into this world alone and I mean this is a hard, this is a hard ass topic, but you're going to die. You like not die alone, but you're going to end up in that casket alone.
Speaker 1:It is, at the end of the day, it is you. Yes, you can have other people in your life significant others and friends and family and all these people that are going to try to hold you accountable, but you are going to. If you're going to play that victimizing card, you are going to take it as they're attacking you and they're coming after your character and they're, you know, yeah, essentially just attacking your character. So that's where you need to, at the end of the day, understand like, hey, I can hold myself accountable. I have to hold myself accountable and I need to be okay with that, because then you're going to allow others to do the same as well yeah, I don't, I'm almost like I don't really.
